Manchester United Vs West Ham: Whose woes will deepen?


As the English Premier League comes a close, all the teams are putting up their best performance either to stay afloat or to be in the top four. Manchester City are miles apart and do not need any validation that they are going to win the EPL. But for their Manchester United rivals, all is not so well with them. The case is far worse for West Ham who are not so secured from the relegation zone.

Let’s take a quick run at the English Premier League table for now: Manchester United with 36 games so far played sit at number 2 with 77 points. With equally 36 games played, West Ham is currently at number 15 with 38 points. The devil is always in the details. If West Ham are to lose the game with Manchester United and things do not go their way they may find themselves relegated in the English Premier League. Manchester United are not so much in an uncomfortable position as a loss or draw game will not have so much intact on their current standing.

Statistically, Manchester United has played West Ham in 36 matches and has won 24 and draw 5 and lost only 7. This means that West Ham are no match for Manchester United. But let us not forget that a loss for West Ham can mean relegation and they have to fight more than ever to get off that zone.
